Profile: Derryck Strachan

Derryck set up Big Star Copywriting in 2005 and has worked as a professional copywriter and marketer for nearly 25 years. Starting his career in the music industry at WEA Records (Warner Brothers) he's also written for BBC, Amazon, Rough Guides, Time Life, Tower Records, World Circuit Records, Frukt, and Heineken. These days he heads up large content projects for the likes of Thomas Cook, Ecco Shoes, Armani and NCP. The rest of the time he devotes to his family or writing about his passions - music, food, film and history.
